Welcome to the Teton Hand and Upper Extremity Conference

The Teton Hand and Upper Extremity Conference began in February of 2002 as a combined effort between Teton Hand Therapy, Inc., Shands Rehab, and the University of Florida Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation. The conference was established to provide hand therapists and hand surgeons a world class opportunity for study and leisure. The conference is centered on the anatomy of the upper extremity and uses fresh-frozen cadaveric specimens, lab sessions, didactic presentations, case studies, and panel discussions as its primary methods of instruction. Each year the conference emphasizes the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. The course is designed to provide the attendee with a comprehensive study and review the upper extremity.

The faculty for this conference are drawn from local and nationally renowned surgeons and therapists. The 9th Annual Teton Hand and Upper Extremity Conference affords a unique opportunity to study cadaveric and surface anatomy, evaluation, mobilization, therapeutic exercise, splinting, case study, and surgical intervention of specific diagnoses of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. The study will be summarized with daily clinical workshops and case study participation. Interested individuals will be given the opportunity to dissect fresh-frozen cadaveric specimens. This year's attendee will have the opportunity to earn up to 28 continuing education units. Each day provides the opportunity experience summer in Jackson:

  • Day one: white water rafting.

  • Day two: tram hike and dinner.

  • Day three: downtown Jackson & rodeo.

  • Day four: Jenny Lake hike.

We encourage everyone to come and experience the world class amenities and long summer nights in Jackson!

This year the conference will be held at the Hotel Terra which can easily be described as, “Luxury Redefined. Both hip and approachable, convenient and surprising, sustainable, and luxurious. The Hotel Terra is part of a new generation of hotel: inspired to be extraordinary.”
